Bill Meyers is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, and is a graduate of Indiana University, with degrees in English Literature and History. After college, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served as an infantry officer until his retirement in 1998. Throughout his career he commanded a wide variety of operational units, and gained extensive experience training enlisted recruits and new officers. |
After his retirement, Bill established Peak Performance Systems providing training to help individuals and organizations optimize and sustain high performance through enhanced leadership, communications skills, and team development. When he returned to Indiana, Bill became a career consultant with Bernard Haldane Associates, and later with Raymond Associates, in which capacities he taught and coached his clients to develop and manage their personal career searches and career advancement campaigns. He then took a position with Lucas Group, working as a recruiter, where he specialized in representing and placing former senior military officers in the corporate workforce. Bill joined Career Transition Strategies as Manager of Career Services, and is currently working to develop new training and consulting programs to assist individual clients as well as business affiliates to optimize career management practices and techniques. Bill believes that “providing affordable, tailored, career assistance for everyone, from job seekers to hiring authorities and business leaders, is an exciting mandate, and, essentially, an entirely new approach to career management services.
