Tim Dugger, President and owner of Career Cafe', LLC, was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Highland, Indiana. In 1977 he graduated from Indiana University School of Business with a degree in Marketing/Advertising and a minor in psychology. He subsequently joined Firestone’s Industrial Products Division in Noblesville, Indiana spending two years there and then worked for The Premier Rubber Manufacturing Co. in Dayton, OH as a sales representative.

In 1981, he began his career in recruiting joining Management Recruiters of Indianapolis recruiting exclusively for the rubber and plastics industries in the areas of technical, manufacturing, and sales management. In 1988, Tim went to work for E & A Industries, a company which had been on the Inc. list of 500 fastest growing companies for four years, as Vice President and General Manager of one of their small automotive chemical businesses.

When that business was sold in 1990, he formed SearchPro Group of America, Ltd. with the purpose of providing executive level technical, sales, and manufacturing management to select client companies within the rubber industry.

In May of 1999, SearchPro Group purchased Pyramids Personnel, a then 23 year old Administrative and Managed Care recruiting firm. Subsequently renamed The Pyramids Group, the company today provides Executive, Middle Management Technical and Medical professionals serveing the Accounting, IT, Manufacturing, Medical and Legal markets nationally and throughout the world.

After receiving many requests from individuals seeking guidance through their career search, in 2000 Tim created Career Transition Strategies. Today his newest venture, Career Cafe' LLC, provides fee-based Career Coaching and Consulting Services to transitioning professionals. He is certified in several common testing instruments such as Extended DISC, Myers Briggs and The Strong Interest Inventory.

Tim is an active member of The Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce serving on their marketing committee, Rainmakers business networking group, The Indiana Search and Staffing Association, and Rainmakers Marketing Group.

When he’s not helping others, Tim enjoys spending time with his two daughters Kristin and Kayla, son-in-law Andy, grandson Gavin and granddaughter Alana. His passions include boating, motorcycles, racquetball, golf, reading, attending Jimmy Buffett concerts and playing guitar and piano badly.
